Car rental in Tenerife

Discovercars – a car rental website. For a truly comfortable holiday on the island, we strongly recommend renting a car. The most convenient option is to pick up and return the car at the airport, and the daily rental price is roughly the same as a taxi ride from the southern airport to a resort.

If you arrive at the northern airport but stay in the south, renting a car is the only logical option, as a taxi ride costs around €95 one way. That can be equivalent to 3–4 days of car rental. In other words, the money you would spend on taxis both ways could instead cover a full week of driving a rental car.
